Everything has its Strong and Weak Points like Human, and we are going to talk about the Fancy Paper Cup.
It won't be new to somebody that their index finger was dripped by Coffee which came from the Lid of the paper cup. WHY is THAT?!
It is all Because of the top of the SEAM.
If the top of the seam is in contact with HOT WATER/COFFEE for a long time, it will be damaged and hence, broken.
When will this Happen? We don't think there will be enough coffee inside the cup and reaching the top of the SEAM?
It mostly happen when the opening of the Lid are in the same/close position of the SEAM. When people start drinking, Hot Water/Coffee will be in contact with the SEAM frequently, then the "damaging" happen.
Eventually, Coffee drip from the the notch under the Lid and the going to your finger or shirt.
So Far, in this industry, there are nobody who can tackle this problem, as there is no smarter way for forming the Paper Cup.
In order to minimize the impact, Coffee Shop Owners and Baristas are advised to cover the lid with the opening opposite to the SEAM, therefore, the Hot Water/Coffee will not be in contact with the upper part of the SEAM.
Beease will keep an eye on this matter and keep doing research about how to prevent this from Happening, by making a nice lid to overcome the issues or changing the construction of the Paper Cup! Here ,your input will also be very important to us, so we can improve this and make our life easier!
